Fitness Retreat, Norfolk, June 18

With one of the hottest weekends on record, these fine specimens trained for over 13 hours with activities including, Boxing, Yoga, Pilates & HIIT training to name a few.

At the weekend 18 women joined me on a Fitness Retreat in Norfolk. I just want to thank them all for their hard work, stamina, endurance & motivation. As a team they kept each other going in some tough sessions, they never moaned or gave up! Whilst training for 12 hours & still managing to keep smiling. You smashed it.

Thank you to Mark for feeding 21 of us & BakingBad for all your support in the kitchen. Team work makes the dream work & I couldn’t have done it without you all. Here’s to the next one ????

 

Ladies Charity Boxing Match

Ladies Pack a Punch for Charity

On a Christmas Night out, 2 friends, Nicola Jordan from Knebworth and Alex Probyn from Walkern, decided they wanted to raise money for charity. The friends inspired by boxing classes with Victoria at FutureFit agreed to put their fight skills to the test in a full-on Boxing Match against each other for their chosen charities.

Neither ladies had even stepped into a ring before let alone fought so this  proved no mean feat. They trained hard for 4 months on technique & fitness ready for the fight.

The fight took place on Saturday 12th May at The View in Panshanger. With “Knockout Nik” in the blue corner & ”   Prosecco Probyn” in the red

The fight consisted of 3 rounds of 2 minutes with 1 minute’s rest in-between. The 1st round proved too close to call & similarly with the second. Everything counted on the last round with Knockout Nik winning by Judges Decision.

The night followed with a raffle & disco with all proceeds going to charity

The chosen charities close to the boxers heart’s are Keech Hospice Care, Junior Diabetes Research Fund & Ehlers Danos Support UK. £2500 was raised on the night.

Having recently qualified as Ricky Hatton Boxing Instructor there are now a number of Boxing sessions available for all levels & abilities. The principles of professional boxing training as well as the principles of functional fitness are combined to form a unique training programme.
